Bioderma Sensibio H2O
Every time I see the words ‘ 3 in 1’ or ‘All in one’ on the packaging of various products, my immediate reaction (from past experience) is to assume that they over promise and under deliver, and most times that is the case.
That is, until I discovered Bioderma Crealine H2O. I
initially heard about this product through fellow beauty bloggers and deicided
to try it out for myself.
It claims to be a “gentle fragrance-free micellar solution that cleanses
impurities and removes make-up while respecting the skin's natural balance.”
The writing on the
packaging in completely in French, so I’d have no clue what it actually says
but the product itself looks a lot like water. Its soap free, fragrance free,
alcohol free and is hypoallergenic, so it’s suitable for people with all skin
types.
I personally use it as
a makeup remover every night before bed. I soak a cotton pad in the solution
and the makeup comes right off. It even removes stubborn eye makeup
effortlessly (and yes, that does include
the overly attached waterproof mascara). One of the reasons I love this product
so much is that it doesn’t sting your eyes when you remove your makeup, unlike
other makeup removers do. In addition to that , it is also a non rinse formula
and for me personally, it’s very soothing on my skin. I’ve also noticed that my
skin seems a lot brighter and clearer since using this product, I’ve found that
is also significantly helped me reduce breakouts. This product is also great to
use as a toner or just to freshen up or even help fix any little makeup
accidents, by using a little bit on a cotton bud.
I’m currently at the
end of my 4th bottle and have already ordered a 5th one.
That should give you an indication of how much I love this product. So, if you are in the market for an excellent
makeup remover or toner or cleansing water or all of the above, I 100%
recommend you to give Bioderma a try.
Have you tried
Bioderma? What did you think of it? Let me know below.
In the meantime, I hope
you guys have a great weekend!

August Favourites
It's sometimes difficult to comprehend how quick this year has seem to pass by, and to think December is just three short months away! Not only was August one of the best months yet, it was also the month I celebrated my 21st birthday. So I'd though why not share some of my favourite things from this past month.
1. Victoria Secret Body Spray in 'Sheer Love': I accidentally stumbled upon this body spray early on this month and I have been using it every single day. The bottle mentions that it has White cotton and Pink Lily, but to me it it has a fresh and girly scent, definitely on the flora side, but very subtle at the same time. It's a very pleasant smell. I personally love using it right after I take a shower and moisturise.
2. Breaking Bad: This TV show was recommended to me by my brother, I was reluctant at first because it didn't seem like something that I would be interested in. But lucky for me I was on holidays and had nothing better to do, and my goodness I'm glad I decided to watch it. Long story short this is one of my top 5 favourite TV shows of all time. With the plot twists that season 5 had brought so far its no surprise why it has made my favourites list this month.
3. Bioderma Crealine H2O: This beauty product came out of nowhere (well, technically it came from France) and it's been dubbed a miracle product, and I'm gonna have to agree with that. If I could describe this product with just one word, it would be 'amazing'. I will be doing a review on it so I don't want to go into too much detail. Essentially this is a makeup remover that has a lot of scientific aspects to it but it does soo much more than just remove your makeup. Keep an eye out for the blog post coming soon.
4. Tea time: Making those french Macarons was one of my highlights of the month. It was my first time making them and they were oh so scrum-didly-umtions, a bit tricky to make though. I decide to be super fancy and have them alongside a good ol' cup of tea.
5. This quote "Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication" was my new year's resolution for this year. It reminds me to keep things simple and not over complicate things. I've used to concept in literally every aspect of my life and it's strange how it's made me so much happier and helped me appreciate the little things in life.
6. Pretty Little Liars: So if you're not familiar with this show, you need to jump on the bandwagon ASAP because you are missing out. This show has more secrets than Tom Riddle's chamber, and if you are a bit behind or have not watched this season's finale yet, word of warning: you might want to prepare yourself for the emotional trauma you will experience upon watching that episode.
7. Tulips: The sad thing about tulips only growing in winter is that I only get to enjoy them for a few months a year. However, on the bright side waking up to a fresh bunch of them on my bedside table puts a smile on my face every morning. It make cold early morning wake up's just that little more bare able.
8. Burberry 'The Beat': I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my mom and I gotta admit it's smells really really good (not that I wasn't expecting it to smell good, it just surprised me how nice it smelt). I personally feel like it is a good mix of floral and fruity, however, it does have a slightly more prominent woody/ musky smell. Keep in mind that all perfumes smell different on everyone, that's just what I could smell, it might be totally different on you.
Did you have any favourites for this month? Share them below, I'd love to read them :)
Have Fun.

Day to Night Outfit Ideas
Night time Outfit
So the day is done and you have a dinner party to attend to, what do you do? The solution is simple.
Ditch the sandals and cross body bad. Instead, opt for a well fitted blazer. I chose an ivory blazer here as it it make the print on the dress standout, it dramatically emphasises the dress, making it the statement piece of the outfit. Adding a black clutch and a great pair of heels to match creates a very polished and put together outfit.
I hope this gave you some ideas or inspiration to plan your next day to night outfit.
Have fun

Makeup brushes for beginners
For those who decide to start a makeup kit/collection finding the right brush for different jobs can be an overwhelming task. So here are my suggestions of the most important eyes and face brushes that will help you create almost any look, whether it be for day or night time.
Eye brushes
The eye shader brush is probably the most important of all eye brushes. It's flat dense shape is ideal for applying eyeshadow to the eye lids. If you flip the brush over, you could use the other side to apply a darker colour to the crease and/or the outer 'V' of the eye.
Tapered blending brush
After the eyeshadow application, the blending brush is crucial in ensuring that the eyeshadows blend together seamlessly. Blending out your eyeshadow is the difference between beautiful eye makeup or a completely disaster. Even if you're going for a natural look, always remember that blending your eyeshadows is a must.
Face brushes
Foundation brush
If you haven't guessed already, the Foundation brush is used to apply....yes foundation. Some might as why can't I just use my fingers to apply foundation? It is simply because it's not the most hygienic way of applying makeup. In addition, if you have any oils or bacteria on your fingers, you would literally be rubbing it onto your face which may lead you to breakout.
Using a foundation brush ensure that you get an even application of foundation for the most natural look.
Concealer brush
The next step is concealer. This may not be a requirement for everyone, depending on the coverage of your foundation or the condition of your skin. Concealer brushes are usually made of a synthetic fibre so that product doesn't get absorbed into the brush. The flat surface is ideal for use even under the eye for covering dark circles.
Blush brush
Blush adds a subtle glow to your complexion. Its shape is great for applying powder blush to the apples of your cheek and then blending them out ensuring you achieve a natural look.
Powder brush
This large fluffy brush is best for applying a dusting of setting powder to set your makeup. Using powder also helps if you have oily skin, it slows down the oil production helping reduce shininess, especially on your T-zone. This type of brush can also be used to apply bronzer to the high points of your face.
Hopefully this has helped you in deciding which brushes to purchase.
Keep in mind that these are just the bare essentials, as your skills and makeup collection expand so will your brush collection.
Have fun
